  • Winemaker Notes The vineyards cover over 20 hectares and produce wines with labels guaranteeing the origin of the wine, AOC. These include AOC Alsace, AOC Grand Cru (Pfersigberg, Goldert, Eichberg, Rangen), AOC Crémant of Alsace. The rich earth — silt, chalky with clay-silt and volcanic ash – allows cultivation of all the Alsatian varietals, including Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling and Gewurztraminer, on 60% of the winery’s growing; the Alsatian Crémant and the Grands Crus represent respectively 10% and 20% of the total surface area. Sheltered by the Vosges mountains, the climate is semi-continental, quite sunny, temperate and dry.
  • Tasting Notes This sparkling, pale yellow wine glints with silver. It pours rich and creamy, with an unflagging effervescence and ever-increasing finesse. After breathing, the wine plays the card of crispness, which increases with a spring-like, slightly acid aroma. We can imagine a touch of citrus and orange peel, yeast and orchard fruit such as pippins. The fountain of bubbles, calming as it breathes, is redolent of juicy pears, toast and mint.
