  • Vineyard Bathed by the waters of the Douro’s left bank in the renowned area of São João da Pesqueira, the Tecedeiras vineyards owe their name to the nuns who in centuries past wove linen from the flax plants here. The soils here are schist and the terracing north and east facing, starting at the water’s edge and rising to about 190m.

  • Vinification Hand harvesting and selection. Picking organized plot-by-plot to ensure harvesting at the right moment. Transport in small boxes to avoid crushing. Careful de-stemming and gentle pressing. Fermented in temperature controlled steel vats. Rested on lies until end of January, 2019.
