  • Winemaker Notes "After an unusual beginning of the season, our environmental practices allowed to emerge unscathed with a healthy vineyard. The flowering happened with a great sense of timing between 6th and 15th of June. The summer heat allowed a slow and qualitative ripeness. On September 6th, 30 pickers start quietly the manual harvest of the rich and ripe berries. The first tastings confirm this brilliant wine between tension, freshness and pleasure! No doubt that the final blend gives a truly great G of Château Guiraud!", Luc Planty, Technical Director
  • Tasting Notes "The 2016 G de Chateau Guiraud has a crisp grass clipping and limestone-scented bouquet that is nicely defined, although I would like to see more vigor. The palate is crisp on the entry with a touch of lemongrass, a pleasant edginess here with satisfying weight on the finish that just needs a touch more focus to develop before bottling." - Neal Martin, Wine Advocate
