  • Winemaker Notes In 1986 the Lamoliere family settled here and began to plant vines. Since then, the family has invested in modern facilities (stainless steel vats, barrel cellar, shed for farming equipment, harvesting machine). This wine is the fruit of painstaking tending by Norbert Lamolière, the estate owner and a passionately dedicated winegrower.
  • Tasting Notes Powerful bouquet of red fruit combined with toasty, smoky notes. The round, mouthfilling palate is framed by silky, beautifully ripe tannins and lingers to a spicy, elegant finish. Definitely a great wine, and one which simultaneously displays all the elegance and flavors typical of the Médoc terroir. It will be at its peak in 2013 or after.
  • Vineyard This small family estate of 36 hectares has an outstanding situation, lying on a gravely knoll in the north of the Médoc, in the village of Lesparre Médoc. Clay and gravel soils.
  • Vinification Traditional pruning method (double Guyot). Shoot-thinning by machine and by hand. Manual desuckering, leaf-culling by machine, traditional fermentation in stainless steel vats., wine fermented at 26°C-28°C., post-fermentation maceration 15 - 20 days, depending on the year.
