WINEMAKER NOTES
Settled since 1964 on this 20 hectares wine estate , the Touchais family is trying to bring to its wine so much character and elegance as Victor Louis (Architect of Bordeaux Theater) made him by building in the XVIIIth century the chartreuse of the domain. Lionel, 3rd generation, winemaker from Bordeaux University, took the technical management of the winery since 2005.
TASTING NOTES
Fruity notes associated with woody aromas. A ruby red color with purple nuances shows the youth of this wine. The nose combines fruity notes with roasted, and coffee notes. A dense and fleshy mouth supported by flexible and silky tannins. The finale, long & persistent, gives evidence of the beautiful balance of this vintage.
VINEYARD

PRESS
“Great butts and intense black fruits as well as an almost black color are the result. The wine is solid, structured and likely to need time to be ready to drink. Keep until 2021.” – 90 points, Roger Voss, Wine Enthusiast
