WINEMAKER NOTES

Domaine Thibert Pere et Fils has a strong terroir identity and a combination of purity, opulence, concentration and minerality that makes their wines attractive both in their youth, and after many years in the cellar.

TASTING NOTES

Floral, toast, and mineral notes in the complex nose. A nice balance; rich with toasty, buttery flavors, but not at all heavy. In fact, it has an ethereal quality, a lightness resting on a backbone of acidity.

VINEYARD

Born to more than 7 generations of winemakers, the Thiberts created Domaine Thibert Père et Fils in 1967 and have now grown the vineyard to approximately 55 acres (22 hectares) of mostly Chardonnay vineyards distributed over all the appellations of the Southern Mâconnais.
