WINEMAKER NOTES
Descended from a long line of wine-growers and local personalities, Edouard and Marcel Guilbaud founded Guilbaud Frères in 1927. They devoted themselves to providing and guaranteeing quality products. A second and then a third generations have since perpetuated this illustrious mission, according it the same rigorous attention.
TASTING NOTES
Intense and complex floral and fruity aromas. A very expressive nose with a touch of violet; the first taste in the mouth reveals exceptional amplitude. Long finish, good balance, and roundness.
VINEYARD
Estate of 20 hectares located in the Tracy-sur-Loire village close to Pouilly-sur-Loire. Mix of chalky, marl and sediments from the Loire River.
VINIFICATION
Hand-picked harvest. Research of the optimal maturity of the grape. Slow and progressive vinification at low temperature. Stored mostly in inox vats or enamelled steel for a minimum of 6 months period.
