WINEMAKER NOTES
Le Château Haut Gléon, nestled in the heart of the Vallée du Paradis is launching this new cuvée labeled as IGP Pays d’Oc to complement its range! Portrayed as the ‘angels of love’, the chubby, mocking cherubs dear to Italian ornamental architecture, this stunning rosé boasts freshness and a gourmet wine appeal.
TASTING NOTES
This beautiful rose has a pale pink color with salmon tints. It starts with a very fresh bouquet with aromas of strawberries and citrus fruits, with delicate floral hints. It’s fragrant on the palate and characterized by a pleasant liveliness.
PAIRING SUGGESTIONS
Try during a barbecue with friends, with charcuterie, or a lovely salade nicoise.
VINEYARD
The vineyard has a mosaic of southern French terroirs, with primarily limestone-clay soils and stony terraces. Hot and dry Mediterranean climate.
VITICULTURE
The vines are trained with cordon de royat pruning. Low, controlled yields via optimal management of nutrition and de-budding. Slow, regular ripening thanks to the microclimate. Harvested when the grapes reach just the right ripeness level to keep their fresher qualities.
VINIFICATION
Light direct pressing. Stabilization on the deposits for 5 to 7 days. Cold static clarification (48 hours). Alcoholic fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel vats. Matured 4 months in stainless steel vats.
