WINEMAKER NOTES
This latest addition to our range is destined to find a solid place among our wine selection. Impressed by the intense fruit expression that Lirac terroir can offer, we elaborate this wine to show with joyful and elegant characters the complexity of our Cru appellation. The label is an aquarelle painted by Victor Hugo while he stayed with Rodolphe de Pins’ ancestor, the Baron of Montfaucon.
TASTING NOTES
Opens with an explosion of red berries. After aeration, the nose is more jammy with tuberose and licorice. The palate is ample with crunchy fruit. Dense, but fine, tannins give way to a long and silky finish.
PAIRING SUGGESTIONS
Goes well with pigeon with black olives, suckling stuffed pig, and veal marengo (stewed veal in tomato and mushroom sauce).
