WINEMAKER NOTES
As I wanted to transmit to my children my passion and commitment in Burgundy wines, I have decided to produce a wine with great ageing potential to show them what could be achieved with the grapes we produce in our terroirs, and I named those cuvées after their names, the Pinot for my son, and the Chardonnay for my daughter.
TASTING NOTES
A ruby color and a fruity nose. On the palate, a fruity attack with hints of woody structure. Medium-bodied with a good balance and roundness. A fruity finish.
PAIRING SUGGESTIONS
It is best drunk at 14-16° on its own or with a meal and soft cheese.
VINEYARD
- Soil: Limestone, marl
VINIFICATION
The bunches are put in a stainless-steel vat for maceration during 10 days. After a quick pressing (to avoid rough tannins), the wine is let to age in french oak barrels during 12 months, and then bottled. It can age in a cellar for a few years with good ageing potential.
