WINEMAKER NOTES
Antonio Fattori, who runs this 25 hectare property, comes from a family of winemakers in Veneto. With over a century of history, the winery has accumulated a solid base for continuing improvement and some expansion. Traditionally served with dried biscuits, ideal with ripe and well seasoned cheese. Serve at 12-14°C, Ageing potential: 60 months.
TASTING NOTES
Intense yellow with golden reflections. Complex fruity aromas, rounding off with sweet spice and leaving an intriguing sensation of dried apricots. Sweet but fresh and tasty.
VINEYARD
Average age of vines is 15 years with 5,000 vines/Ha. Production is 2,500 Lt/Ha and 6,000 bottles. Grapes are harvested by hand.
VINIFICATION
Starting mid September. The grapes are handpicked, then placed to dry on wooden racks. After the maceration, the fermentation occurs in oak barrels (40%) and in stainless steel vats (60%) where the wine matures for one year.
