WINEMAKER NOTES
Descended from a long line of wine-growers and local personalities, Edouard and Marcel Guilbaud founded Guilbaud Frères in 1927. They devoted themselves to providing and guaranteeing quality products. A second and then a third generations have since perpetuated this illustrious mission, according it the same rigorous attention.
TASTING NOTES
Deep yellow tinged with green glints. Nice floral nose discreet but long lasting. It is a special “Sancerre” which allies the subtility of smell, a tang of soil, and a rich and long lasting taste in the mouth.
VINEYARD
Estates of 10 and 12 hectares located in Bue and St Satur (Cher). Dry chalky soils generally named “Caillottes”.
VINIFICATION
Hand-picked harvest. Slow vinification at low temperature with tartaric precipitation. Bottling is started early in order to keep aromas.
